Hi friends,

It’s been long since I posted anything new. Well, rejoice, for new tutorials are in the works! Also, I’ll be changing the host for flashexplained.com because I need something more powerful to handle my 100K+ monthly visits. So don’t sweat it if the site goes down for 1-2 days. It will be back - faster, better and with new features, too. I am planning to add a download section. It will come in handy, you’ll see why.

Hi everyone,

This is a flashexplained.com update: I am currently moving from Africa back to Europe. This being said, I won’t be able to reply to your comments and questions until somewehere after November 15th, once I settle down. I have so much things to do - moving from one continent to another is no small thing.

Also, there will be just one or two more tutorials for Flash 8, and after that, everything will be made freshly for Flash CS3. Expect new tutorials during the second half of November. In the meantime, enjoy the Flash tutorials and keep on learning.

This lesson will be the first in a series where all the animation techniques in Flash CS3 will be explained in detail. Motion tween animation is one of the most widely used in Flash, so it makes sense to begin with it. You are going to learn:

• How to draw a basketball using the great drawing tools available,
